On January 23rd through the 26th, the Francisco brand participated as a proud Sponsor of the 17th Annual Grand Zinfandel Festival. The Turn out was great! About 9,000 people took part of this internationally recognized walk-around wine tasting. It was a fun-filled atmosphere, where the Zinfandel community came together to celebrate another year of America’s wine heritage.

Francisco products were highlighted at the event by giving samples of “Pappa al Pomodoro Soup” recipe (a bread based tomato basil soup) along with our bread, perfect for a cold San Francisco day. The recipe was prepared on-site by Chef Carol Ritchie, and received many complements by attendees. We also gave away recipe books that feature 6 easy recipes and coupons.

Some of the comments heard were: “I just love Francisco bread”, “Nothing like the sweetness of the Bavarian”, “Thank you, guys for being here, with your recipe and the best Sourdough bread”.

Zap Festival was an incredible success with an awesome turnout.
